Abstract:As a common accidental load form during the service of cross channel bridges, ship impact poses a serious threat to the safe operation of bridge structures. In this paper, taking a river crossing bridge as an example, the ship bridge collision dynamic analysis of the main pier of the bridge is carried out by using the dynamic time history analysis method, the dynamic response of the pier under different impact conditions is studied, and the collision force of the finite element simulation analysis is compared with the collision force calculated according to the algorithm specified in the codes at home and abroad, which draws the attention of the bridge designer.
