Abstract:Under the condition of limited alignment, in order to pursue the aesthetic effect of concise coordination of urban bridges, the superstructure section forms of curved bridges, wide-box girder bridges and skew bridges have been the box-shaped sections. Compared with the bridges of conventional straight line or great curvature radius, these bridges of small curvature radius or widening skew have the different structural internal force under the same loading. The grillage method can reflect the actual stress situation of the wide bridge more truly, but the calculation is more complicated and time-consuming. By analyzing the results of single beam method and grillage method, it is hoped that the method of increasing the surplus of single beam method can ensure that the structural design meets the specification requirements.
