Abstract:The development of the city across the river and the consequent demand for a large number of motorized and non-personal travel across the river requires the construction of a channel to solve the problem and a good connection with the road networks on both sides of the river to ensure the function of the river crossing. This paper introduces the basic premise of the pedestrian and non-pedestrian river crossing system, the overall scheme selection, the traffic organization of the slow traffic system, and the structural design of the lower level pedestrian and non-pedestrian passageway carried out by Ningbo Zhongxing Bridge, laying a solid foundation for the design and construction of the pedestrian and non-pedestrian passageway of Zhongxing Bridge. The study shows that: the main bridge should be designed with a slow moving system using a gentle slope pushing scheme; the pedestrian and non-personal system of the main bridge section is arranged at the lower edge of the main girder, and the non-motorized lane of the approach section is arranged at the lower level of the motor vehicle lane; the south and north banks are respectively converted via Jiangdong North Road and the light-controlled level crossing of the planned branch road, and the bridge is pushed up with a gentle slope; pedestrians and non-motorized vehicles use the space around the main pier to set up elevators and circular stairs to go up and down. The space around the main pier is set up with elevators and circular stairs to go up and down the bridge; the longitudinal section design of the lower level of the human and non-personal channel should be divided into four sections, namely, the standard cantilever section of the main span and part of the side span, the transition section A where the root of the pick arm is located at the edge of the web, the transition section B where the root of the pick arm is located at the inner side of the web, and the convergence section of the side span.
