Abstract:Huaian Road and West II Ring Road in Shijiazhuang are all the expressways determined by urban planning. However, limited by the construction conditions, the rapid intersection node has not been interconnected. To solve the urgent traffic problems around, the traffic analysis and functional orientation are carried out for the present roads and construction conditions. Limited by the existing land conditions, two interchange schemes are proposed. Through the comparison and selection, the orienteering interchange scheme is recommended to solve the demolition problems. At the same time, by optimizing the ramp alignment and paving the phase change asphalt and using the other methods, the problems of lighting, pavement freezing and the others can be solved. The Phase I of the project opening for traffic can realize the rapid traffic conversion of the main road at the east side of Huaian Road and West Ring II Road.
