Abstract:The main bridge of Yumin Bridge in Jieshou City is a self-anchored suspension bridge with a main span of 142m. The design process of the bridge mainly includes the steps of determining the overall layout of the bridge, static finite element modeling, overall stability analysis, cable alignment determination, internal force analysis during operation, and component strength checking. In addition, it is necessary to establish a dynamic model to understand the natural vibration mode of the bridge, analyze the response of the structure under the action of earthquake, and then check the seismic performance of the bridge. By summarizing some key steps in the design process, such as suspension bridge modeling, stability analysis, cable system design, effective length of cable tower, seismic performance research, etc., we strive to provide a more valuable reference for the design of similar bridges.
