Abstract:Relying on a multi-box low-pylon cable-stayed bridge, the construction of the typical cantilevered-poured segments of the bridge is simulated by the establishment of finite element solid model. The main cause mechanism of web cracks in the construction process is analyzed. It is revealed that the web cracks are mainly caused by the factor superposition of concrete hydration heat action, web bundle tensioning and concrete shrinkage. The targeted prevention measures and suggestions are put forward, which provides the reference for the design and construction of the similar bridges in the future.
