Abstract:The rotation of double spherical aseismic bearing will result in changes of the bearing's vertical height, which will affect the internal forces of continuous beam bridges. Based on the process analysis of two kinds of the bearing rotation, the pure rotation and rotation with horizontal displacement, a simplified rotation model of double spherical aseismic bearing is established to study the vertical rotational displacement of the bearing. And a vertical rotational displacement formula of the bearing is obtained by theoretical derivation. The factors that influence the vertical rotational displacement of double spherical aseismic bearing are analyzed then. This study can provide theoretical basis for bearing design and internal forces analysis of continuous beam bridges.
