Abstract:Based on the background of the anti overturning reinforcement project of the single column pier of Bayi Bridge in Nanchang City, combined with the anti overturning requirements in the current specifications, this paper proposes a feasible anti overturning reinforcement design scheme for the existing single column pier bridge of the north-south interchange of Bayi Bridge, and conducts comprehensive comparison and selection of the reinforcement schemes. After considering various factors, the scheme of adding pile foundation, outsourcing pier columns and capping beams is selected. At the same time, this paper carries out anti overturning checking calculation for the third section of C line bridge of curved bridge, considers many factors and selects appropriate reinforcement pier position according to the calculation. The final calculation results show that the bridge meets the requirements after anti overturning reinforcement. The comparison and selection of reinforcement schemes and the consideration of bridge reinforcement pier position in this paper can provide reference for the design scheme of anti overturning reinforcement of related bridges.
