Abstract:In order to research the influence of the "horizontal assembly and vertical rotation" process on mechanical characteristics of cable pylon, based on simulation analysis of finite element, the stress, cable force, deformation and stability of vertical rotating structure were calculated. The results show that the most unfavorable state of the structure is that the cable pylon just separated from the jig frame. In this state, the structural stress, cable force and deformation are much large, and the structural stability safety factor is relatively small. The structural monitoring at this stage shall be strengthened during the process.
