Abstract:Ningbo belongs to a coastal area. Due to the wide distribution of soft foundation in coastal area and the lack of its own carrying capacity, the phenomenon of bridgehead bump is becoming more and more common with the increasing volume of highway traffic. Therefore, it has become an urgent and important task to solve the problem of bridgehead bump at once. By studying the bridgehead bump mechanism, DGR technology is adopted for the highways in operation period. The fitting is carried out according to the follow-up measured data, which is compared with the hyperbolic model and exponential curve model. The effect of DGR technology on the treatment of bridgehead bump and the final settlement are verified by predicting the settlement of bridgehead bump under the appropriate curve model. The results show that DGR technology to treat the bridgehead bump has a good effect and the curve model can better predict the actual settlement.
