Abstract:With the development of economy and society, the construction of sponge city is becoming more and more important. In the design of Guiwan Park in Shenzhen, the systematic water management of natural precipitation, surface water and groundwater is built according to the concept of sponge city. The total annual runoff is reduced by 85% and the non-point source pollution is reduced. The low-impact development facilities is comprehensively used to purify, collect, infiltrate and reuse the rainwater and flood in the area of Guiwan River in order to achieve the hydrologic characteristics with minimal impact before site development. At the same time of promoting the ecological value, the aesthetic value of the site should be improved by the landscape design. The low-impact development facilities such as permeable pavement, sunken green land, ecological grass drain, rainwater garden, gravel drain, fresh-water wetland and seawater wetland, rainwater recycling facilities are used, reasonably designed and brought into integrated planning design of landscape system, which provides a useful reference for the sponge city design of other urban parks.
