Abstract:Interchange is a key node of urban road network system. With the growth of urban traffic demand and the expansion of urban development and construction, the built urban interchanges often have problems such as the functional orientation, turning relationship or interweaving capacity mismatch. It needs to be improved by transferring the demand of road network, directionally improving the capacity, perfecting the traffic organization, separating the node flow or upgrading the traffic capacity. Taking Qingdao Liuting Interchange as an example, the reconstruction scheme and implementation effect of the interchange are studied.
