Abstract:With the continuous improvement of bridge landscape requirements, the bowstring arch bridge is widely used because of its strong modeling adaptability and good economy. The mechanical analysis of related types of bridges is increasingly important. Based on a wide anti-symmetrical bowstring arch bridge, the finite element software MIDAS and ABAQUS are used to carry out the complete and partial calculation of this bridge, and analyze the structural strength and deformation of the whole bridge. And the partial analysis on key components of arch-beam joint sections is carried out. The results show that the strength, deformation, and local component strength of the whole bridge all meet the requirements of the specification design.
