Abstract:The site of the reconstruction and expansion project of a Class I highway in a mountainous area in northern Guangdong is mainly located on the mountainous and hilly landform. The route is partially distributed with plain and platform landform. The difficulty of the project is located at a crossing-ridge extension line of the original highway route. The west side is a steep rock slope, and the east side is a typical slope with gentle rock and soil binary structure. The reconstruction and expansion scheme is extended along the east side. The slope protection scheme is the initiative reinforcement and protection of prestressed anchor cable + frame beam. Combined with the engineering examples, the simple and practical simplified Bishop method is used to analyze the slope stability, and the design scheme meets the design requirements of subgrade slope protection.
