Abstract:Bridge deck pavement is an important part of bridge construction, and the selection of pavement materials will directly affect the service life of bridge. In order to study the high-performance long service life asphalt mixtures suitable for bridge deck pavement, five kinds of SBS modified asphalt, high-viscosity modified asphalt, high-elastic modified asphalt, heavy-load traffic modified asphalt and poured asphalt are used. Based on six gradations of AC-10, AC-13, AC-20, GA-10, SMA-10 and SMA-13, the pavement performance tests of asphalt mixture are carried out. The tests show that the asphalt-aggregate ratio of heavy-load asphalt mixture is lower than that of high viscosity, high elasticity and SBS modified asphalt mixtures. The graduation SMA class is better than AC class. The high-temperature and low-temperature performances of GA poured asphalt mixtures are very different. The rutting test shows that the performance of high-viscosity asphalt mixture is the best. The low-temperature bending test shows that the performance of high-elastic asphalt mixture is the best. The immersion Marshall Test, freeze-thaw split test, uniaxial penetration test, split test and dynamic modulus test all show that the performance of heavy-load asphalt mixture is the best.
