Abstract:The concrete filled steel-tube simple-supported arch bridge is widely used in high-speed railway engineering and has become the most commonly used "special" bridge structure. Unlike the simple-supported beam bridge and continuous beam bridge, the concrete filled steel-tube simple-supported arch bridge has its unique characteristics. Therefore, the design issues of this kind of bridge are summarized from the structural dimensions, design load, design indexes and design essentials, which can provide the reference and guidance for the design and development of this kind of bridge.
