The design essentials of utility tunnel structure are set forth. And combined with the engineering examples, the design essentials of the utility tunnel are deeply analyzed. The selection of construction method of utility tunnel, the water resistance, the node structure design of utility tunnel, and the measures to be taken at key nodes are discussed, which provide the reference for the engineering design of utility tunnel.
