Abstract:Taking the reconstruction of the entrance and exit at the section of Fengyi Bridge - Lize Bridge in the inner ring of West Ring III Road in Beijing as the background, the entrance and exit spacing is analyzed and discussed. The calculation results of traffic capacity, running speed and service level of the interleaved area are analyzed and compared according to the 7th edition of the US Highway Capacity Manual (2022 edition) (hereinafter referred to as HCM2022) and ZHOU Ronggui's Highway Capacity Manual. Some suggestions for the entrance and exit spacing are put forward. Based on the case background, by selecting the flow ratio and length of interleaved area as the influencing factors, the analysis methods of ZHOU Ronggui and HCM2022 are used to compare the sensitivity of traffic capacity and running speed, and the difference of the two methods is analyzed.
