Abstract:The Xiaohe River Bridge on Dayun Road is the first large-span spatial oblique symmetrical link arch bridge in the world. Its layout of bridge span is(65+110+110+65)m=350 m. Its main arch and secondary arch are connected through the cross beam, and are formed the arch-beam consolidation with the main girder. The mechanical characteristics of the spatial oblique symmetrical link arch bridge are translated into an arch beam composite system with the self-balancing structure and without the horizontal thrust. The parabolic arch axis and box section are adopted for the arch ribs of the bridge. The inclined-span main arch span of 229 m is the largest span in China. The main girder is the semi-closed double-side steel box girder. The overall analysis of spatial static force, fatigue, stability and seismic performance of the bridge is conducted, as well as a local analysis of the arch foot. The results all meet the specification requirements.
