Abstract:In order to overcome the drawbacks of traditional cantilever retaining walls such as long construction cycles, difficult quality control, and significant social and environmental impacts, the key technologies for the design and construction of prefabricated cantilever retaining walls are systematically discussed, including the optimization and connection methods of prefabricated retaining wall components, production molds and hoisting processes, transportation and installation of components, and treatment of joints. A complete set of achievements guiding the design and construction of prefabricated cantilever retaining walls has been formed, and has been applied to the Jiaxing City Expressway Loop Line Project in Zhejiang Province. The practice shows that the technology has obvious advantages such as fast construction, high quality, and good benefits, which can provide reference for the subsequent engineering construction.
