Abstract:Large-scale integrated pipe gallery construction in China is currently widespread, with a majority of them located in coastal soft soil areas. During the initial operation phase, there are common issues such as rapid and concealed development of structural defects within the galleries. This paper is based on an actual engineering case study of Xuwu New Area Urban Underground Integrated Pipe Gallery in Lianyungang City. It focuses on the investigation and analysis of cracks, leaks, water accumulation, and misalignment defects present in the pipe gallery. By analyzing the inspection results, the causes of these structural defects are identified, and corresponding solutions are proposed. This study provides valuable references and insights for the construction and maintenance of similar integrated pipe galleries under comparable geological conditions.
