Abstract:A special demonstration on flood control (waterlogging) is carried out before a metro line is put into operation. The suggestions for flood control (waterlogging) are proposed for the metro design and construction stages from the perspective of the water conservancy profession, which has a positive effect on reducing the safety risks of metro operation. Taking Nanjing Metro Line 5 as an example, according to the characteristics of the metro itself and the topography, geomorphology and watershed system of the area where the metro is located, and by integrating the urban construction layout and the urban flood control and drainage system, the flood control (waterlogging) assessment ideas and methods are determined. The flood control (waterlogging) assessment study of the new metro line is carried out from the perspectives of external flood, regional waterlogging and areal drainage. On the basis of the assessment, the feasible measures for flood control (waterlogging) are put forward.
