Abstract:A 60 m+105 m+105 m+60 m continuous beam structure is used in an elevated bridge with the cantilever construction method. The stress on the middle crossbeam is relatively complex. Usually, in the design of the middle crossbeam, a manhole is added to meet the needs of maintenance personnel. However, the setting of the manhole will change the stress distribution of the middle crossbeam, resulting in more tensile stress areas around the manhole. In the general design, a certain transverse steel bundle will be installed around the manhole to solve this problem. The ANSYS finite element software is used to establish a solid model of the middle crossbeam to analyze the calculation results. The conclusion shows that the distribution of stress around the manhole can be analyzed by changing the size of the manhole.
