Abstract:Compared with the traditional wear layer technology, the ultra-thin wear layer technology has the advantages such as convenient construction, economic durability, smooth and quiet, which is widely used in highway preventive maintenance projects and road quality upgrading projects now. However, because of its thin thickness, the risk of inter-layer slip under the vehicle load is relatively high. Therefore, the higher requirements are put forward for the performance and durability of its viscous layer system. To solve this problem, three kinds of viscous layer materials, such as high-viscous modified emulsified asphalt, Nova-B modified emulsified asphalt and PC-3 emulsified asphalt, and two types of sub-bearing layer interface, such as GAC-16 asphalt concrete and cement concrete panels are selected as the research objects. The composite ultra-thin specimens are prepared, and the interlayer shear fatigue tests and interlayer drawing fatigue tests are carried out. Combined with the actual engineering application effect verification, the influence of the type, temperature and load of bonding layer material on the mechanical properties is studied.
