Abstract:The design scale of a full underground buried wastewater treatment plant(WWTP)is 50 000 m3/d, and its short-term scale is implemented according to 25 000 m3/d. Based on the influent and effluent qualities and land conditions, the modified AAO + MBR process is adopted for the sewage treatment. The quality of effluent reaches the standard of "Quasi Class Ⅳ", and then is used for the irrigation of surrounding green land, flushing of roads and water replenishing of landscape rivers. After thickened and dewatered to 80% moisture content, the sludge is sent to an urban sludge disposal center for further disposal. The overall process design route of a full underground buried WWTP is introduced in detail, and some important points and difficulties in the design such as construction type, treatment process, impact resistance load during rainy season, flood control, waterlogging prevention, division of fire protection zones and deodorization system are thought and summarized, which provide the reference for the construction of the other similar WWTP projects.
