Abstract:To seize the "Yangtze River Delta Integration National Strategy", "Hongqiao International Open Hub" and other national strategies radiation in the region development opportunities of Fengjing, and to highlight the function of the Shanghai gateway hub on the north bank of Hangzhou Bay in Fengjing Town, the comprehensive transportation improvement of Fengjing Town has become an urgent issue to be solved. By studying the regional road network of Fengjing Ancient Town, the causes of traffic congestion at key nodes and road sections of the town are analyzed. The targeted solutions for smooth external traffic interconnection, tourism traffic interception reduction, proper ordering of parking system organization, and fining design of internal traffic facilities are proposed. At the same time to improve the traffic functions, the quality of the ancient town is simultaneously upgraded so as to bring along the regional development, which can provide the solving ideas for the improvement of transportation system in ancient town.
