The SMA-10 high-viscosity asphalt mixture is designed by using the Marshall method and the high-viscosity asphalt developed independently in laboratory. The high-temperature and low-temperature properties, water stability and salt corrosion resistance of the mixture are detected through a series of laboratory test. The parallel comparison is carried out with the specimens prepared by the commercialized SBS modified asphalt. The result shows that the high-temperature and low-temperature properties of SMA-10 high-viscosity asphalt mixture are superior to SBS asphalt mixture, and its water stability and salt corrosion resistance have the obvious advantages.
