Abstract:In order to study the wind-sand resistant effect of a new bearing system, the performance and reliability of the new ball bearing system are studied and analyzed through the test simulation, and compared with the traditional bearing system. The analysis results show that the new bearing system has a good characteristic of wind-sand resistance. When the test simulation period is 5 years, the surface wear degree of the elastic coaming-plate of the new bearing system is significantly smaller than that of the traditional bearing system. The invasion rate of wind and sand inside the structure of the new bearing system is basically 0, and the expected service life of the new bearing system can be extended to 37 years under the conditions of cold and sand. Therefore, the new spherical bearing system for the bridge has a broad application prospect in an area where dust storms are frequent.
