Abstract:Shanghai is a riverside city with low and flat terrain. As the first line of defense against floods, the flood control wall is the primary barrier to ensure the safety of people's lives and property, which relates to the long-term interests. If the flood control wall is in danger, the serious consequences will be caused. In recent years, there have been more and more construction projects outside the scope of river and dike management in this city. The hidden safety problems caused by the excavation of foundation pit to the adjacent flood control wall are gradually prominent. According to the investigation, there are clear management regulations for the excavation of foundation pit within the protection scope of the flood control wall in Huangpu River urban area, but there is a lack of regulation outside the protection of the flood wall. As a result, such security risks cannot be prevented in advance. It is urgent to conduct the systematic research to provide the management basis and technical support. Through the comparison and selection of theoretical analysis methods, the finite element analysis is finally determined to use as the theoretical basis and analysis method. Through the regression analysis and other data analysis methods, the results and law are summarized, and the impact law of foundation pit construction on flood control wall is ultimately analyzed for use in embankment management.
