Abstract:With the development of urban landscape pedestrian bridge, its structure is more and more presenting the characteristics of light and soft, low damping, etc., and these characteristics will trigger the phenomenon of human-caused vibration. The fundamental frequency of the bridge basically fails to meet the requirements of the current standards at home and abroad. Taking a curved landscape pedestrian bridge in Suzhou as an example, the design scheme of the bridge is elaborated. According to German Pedestrian Bridge Design Guidelines EN03-2007, the pedestrian excitation load is obtained. The dynamic characteristics and peak acceleration response of the structure before and after the setting of the TMD dampers are analyzed and compared to analyze the impact on the comfort level of the bridge structure, which provides reference for the similar projects in the future.
