Abstract:In order to improve the decision-making system for the design of pavement overhaul and middle repair engineering, the carbon emission calculation and carbon emission reduction measures of pavement overhaul and middle repair engineering are studied. Taking the practice of overhaul and middle repair engineering in the region as an example, aiming at the on-site road conditions and investigation results, three pavement maintenance schemes are proposed and compared in the earlier stage of design. And the comparative analysis of carbon emissions is added. Firstly, the calculation range of carbon emissions is determined according to the excavation and transportation of old roads, production and mixing of new materials, and on-site paving construction. Then, the emission factor method is used to calculate and summarize the carbon emissions of different design schemes. The total carbon emissions of each scheme and the carbon emissions of each layer of the upper and lower asphalt pavements are compared. And finally, combined with the proportion of carbon emission in each stage, the carbon reduction measures are put forward.
