Abstract:Based on a cross-river bridge under construction in Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, the deformation and stress at each key measuring point in the whole process of incremental launching construction are monitored to master the deformation and stress changes of steel box girder and nose girder. The construction simulation is carried out by MIDAS Civil finite element analysis software to compare the measured values and the simulated values, which provides the technical support for the incremental launching construction of steel box girder. The results show that the measured values of vertical displacement and stress of nose girder and steel box beam are basically consistent with the simulated values in the incremental launching process. The changes are within a reasonable range, which ensures that the alignment and internal force state of the finished bridge meet the requirements during the construction of steel box beam.
