Abstract:In order to solve the problems such as cracking, debonding, rutting, pits and other diseases on the paving layer easily caused in the process of commonly using the flexible pavement of steel box girder, combined with the steel box girder bridge project at the node of the belt expressway in the east-west urban axis of Chengdu City, the commonly used flexible pavement and rigid pavement (45 mm ultrahigh toughness concrete + 50 mm stone mastic asphalt pavement and steel fiber reinforced concrete + asphalt concrete pavement) are analyzed. The stiffness, girder stress and unit area cost of deck slab with the different paving types are compared. The results show that the use of steel fiber reinforced concrete + asphalt concrete pavement scheme can improve the local force state of deck slab, reduce the risks of deck fatigue cracking, and paving layer cracking and rutting, and reduce the engineering cost.
