Abstract:With the rapid development of economy and the continuous improvement of resident living standards in China, the number of cars is increasing rapidly every year, and the demand for car travel has also shown a steady growth trend. As a result, the demand for parking has been increasing year by year, especially in old urban areas. The lower parking standards initially adopted result in the actual growth of parking demands hard to bear in the built urban space, and the parking space able to provide the increment is more limited. Taking the high-quality development policy orientation as the background, combined with related engineering cases of urban renewal, the characteristics and applicability of intelligent parking garages are systematically analyzed. And the operation and maintenance service quality and investment are compared. The research conclusion can provide the guidance for the implementation and model selection of intelligent parking in the old urban renewal areas.
