Abstract:Taking a built urban bridge under operation as a case, the technical schemes and technical essentials of the ultrahigh fill abutment structure, conical slope protection and backfilling treatment of urban bridge are set forth. Combined with the monitoring situation during construction and operation, the key technical issues in the design and construction of the ultrahigh fill abutment are summarized and analyzed. It has been proven that the strength, stability and settlement of ultrahigh fill abutments can be controlled within a reasonable range by reasonably setting up the abutment structure, strengthening the conical slope design and strictly controlling the construction quality when the external conditions such as terrain, topography and geology are feasible, which can save the construction land and engineering investment, and provide the reference experience for similar projects.
