Abstract:With the development of economy and the acceleration of urbanization progress, the construction of municipal bridges in China has developed rapidly, and especially the number of long-span bridges has gradually increased. Based on the steel box girder spanning the existing viaduct (100 m main span) in the Hefei Fanhua Avenue Reconstruction Project, combined with the domestic and foreign codes and standards, the design ideas and methods of large-span steel box girder are introduced. Combined with the characteristics of the project, the construction schemes are compared and selected. The multi-point walking incremental launching construction scheme is elaborated in detail. The Midas Spatial Finite Element Model is established to carry out the checking analysis of the incremental launching construction process and the completed bridge state. The results show that firstly the design and calculation of long-span steel box girder should integrate the existing codes and standards at home and abroad. Secondly the comparison and selection of schemes should be strengthened before the construction. It is necessary to simulate, check and calculate the adverse conditions based on the finite element model.
