Abstract:Jinyan Bridge in Financial Town of Chengdu is a through spatial special-shaped steel arch bridge. The span of the girder is 135 m and the span of the main arch is 138 m. Jinjiang River under the bridge is a Class VI waterway. The girder is a 2.5 m-high single-box seven-chamber flat steel box girder. The steel arch rib is a single-box single-chamber variable section steel box. The whole bridge is equipped with eleven high-strength finished slings. The total width of the bridge deck is 30 m. The finite element software is used to simulate, calculate and analyze the whole bridge. The design and construction are guided according to the analysis results. Jinyan Bridge has a special structural form and beautiful appearance, and has become a regional landmark after its completion. The overall design scheme of Jinyan Bridge can provide the reference for the design of similar through spatial special-shaped arch bridges.
