Abstract:In order to evaluate the road safety of underground ramp and confluence area with large longitudinal slope plus small radius in Dushuhe Passageway in Suzhou, VISSIM simulation is based to build the model for its simulation research. And the corresponding safety level and characteristics are put forward. The results show that with the increase of traffic volume, the average delay and queue length of vehicles increase. Under the condition of limited ramp alignment, the confluence area still has a good traffic level and the traffic flow is still in a stable state, which shows that the safety situation of confluence area is good.
