Abstract:The soft soil is widely distributed in the western area of Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. Due to the improper treatment of soft foundation, some municipal roads and construction areas are seriously settled after construction, which affects the normal use. Therefore, a reasonable and economic soft foundation treatment scheme is particularly important. Taking Plot A of Doumen District, Zhuhai City as an example, according to the current topography, landform and geological conditions, the scheme study on the deep soft soil in the construction site is carried out. An economical and efficient sand free direct connected vacuum preloading treatment process is proposed for deep soft soil foundation, and its technology and implementation effects are introduced. After the soft soil preloading treatment of the site, the key technical indicators of post-construction settlement and consolidation degree in the site can meet the design requirements, which can be referred for the similar projects.
