Abstract:With the improvement of urbanization level and the increasing environmental requirements of residents, underground wastewater treatment plant that can coordinate with the surrounding environment, have strong closure, and no secondary pollution may become a new development trend and direction of urban sewage treatment plants. The biological aerated filter can be applied in underground wastewater treatment plants due to its characteristics of high volume load, high hydraulic load, and the ability to reduce land occupation by increasing the height of the filling material. By assuming the design conditions, the differences between the biological aerated filter process, the Bardenpho process and the MBR process in terms of land occupation, investment and operation are compared, the types and design points of the biological aerated filter are introduced, and the advantages and disadvantages of the biological aerated filter in the application of the underground wastewater treatment plant are analyzed. Analysis results surface: For underground wastewater treatment plant projects, the biological aerated filter is a good choice, which provides a new direction for the development of underground wastewater treatment plants.
