In order to explore the reasonable mix ratio of high toughness cement-based composite (engineered cementitious composite, ECC), the adverse effect of mix ratio on ECC performance should be reduced to improve the job performance of ECC. On the basis of maintaining the volume content of polyethylene fiber (PE fiber) of 2%, nine groups of orthogonal test are set with the sand binder ratio, fly ash substitution rate and water reducing agent content as the basic parameters to carry out the flow index, compressive property, tensile property and ultimate strain tests. And the influencing parameters in the experimental results are analyzed. The experimental analysis results show that on the premise of meeting the design requirements of test strength, and when choosing 0.3, 35%, 0.003 ratio of sand binder ratio, fly ash replacement rate and water reducing agent content mix ratio, the obtained flow performance, compressive strength, tensile strength and ultimate strain of PE-ECC are the best, and the job performance of ECC is obviously improved in the comparison with basic mix ratio.
