Abstract:The use of concrete top partitions for the air supply outlet of the main tunnel of a super-long highway tunnel can lead to slowing the construction progress and increasing the ventilation resistance. To address this drawback, a new top partition technology using steel corrugated panels instead of concrete is proposed. Through the theoretical analysis, the feasibility analysis is conducted on the new technology from the aspects of ventilation resistance along the line, structural mechanical performance etc. The results show that when using the steel corrugated plates as the top partition material of the air supply duct, its resistance along the line is about 60% of that of the concrete top partition. The stress results of the steel corrugated plate, anchor suspension rod and plug steel plate structure under the new scheme are all within the material safety limit range, and the new structure is safe and stable. The new type of steel corrugated plate top partition scheme can not only meet the basic requirements of ventilation for air supply outlets, but also effectively overcome the shortcomings of not energy-saving and inconvenient after adopting the assembly construction technology, which improves the construction speed and shortens the construction period.
