Abstract:The Rangcheng Road Bridge spanning Tuan River in Dengzhou City is a spatial frame-type single-pylon steel-concrete composite beam cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 90 m+90 m. The main pylon is a four-limb special-shaped spatial frame-type pylon. Its total height is 75.5 m. It consists of separated four-limb pylon and crossbeams. Taking the bridge spanning Tuan River as the research case, the overall construction process of the main pylon is described firstly. Secondly, the simulation numerical analysis is conducted on the stress situation of the main pylon during the construction. Finally, the design is optimized according to the calculation results to ensure the full section compression of the pylon, especially the concrete pylon limbs, which can ensure the safety and rationality of the main pylon construction. The research result can provide the reference for the construction of the similar projects in the future.
