Abstract:To study the seismic isolation design of prefabricated viaducts in strong earthquake area, taking an expressway viaduct as the engineering background, the nonlinear dynamic time-history analysis method is used to compare and study the seismic performances of the small-span and medium-span simple-supported small-box girder bridges with lead rubber bearings and ordinary plate rubber bearings, and the long-span continuous steel-box girder bridge with cable ball steel bearings and ordinary ball steel bearings. The results indicate that the lead rubber bearings have the good seismic isolation effects with small residual deformation, which are recommended to use for the small-span and medium-span simple-supported small-box girder bridges, and the composite girder bridges. The cable ball steel bearings can obviously reduce the seismic responses of bridges, and the substructure stress is improved, and also the cables can restrict the displacement of the girders within a reasonable range to prevent the girder falling, which are recommended to use for the long-span continuous steel-box girder bridges.
