Abstract:With the acceleration of urbanization, the position of rail transit hub station in the urban transportation system is increasingly prominent. As an important node in the rail transit network of Hangzhou, Luting Road Station is a three-line transfer station of Metro Line 3, Metro 5 and Metro 16 in Hanghzou. Firstly, the analysis and comparison are carried out from the aspects of line alignment, construction time sequence, passenger flow characteristics and transfer efficiency to recommend the double-island overlapping-island transfer scheme. Then two vertical schemes are compared and selected from aspects of station position, scale, public area layout, station access capacity and transfer capacity in the vertical design. And the vertical design scheme of the platform on Line 5 is chosen. Finally, in order to verify the efficiency of transfer scheme, the software Legion is used to simulate the passenger flow so as to recheck the transfer capacity. The result shows that the average passenger flow density of Luting Road Station is at the comfortable level with the convenient transfer flow line and orderly passenger flow organization, which can meet the demand of passenger flow in peak hours.
