Abstract:Recycled water, as the secondary source of water in modern urban areas, the degree of its low-carbon treatment and resource utilization is related to the effectiveness of ecological civilization construction and construction of a resource-conserving society construction in China. Nevertheless, there are still many challenges in the green regeneration and low-carbon utilization of water resources in China. Under the background of the "dual carbon" strategy, how to achieve the low-carbonization of wastewater recycling reuse process has become an urgent problem to be solved. The low-carbon development strategy of wastewater recycling reuse is deeply discussed. In light of this, this study aims to delve into the development strategy of low-carbonization in wastewater regeneration and reuse. The comprehensive analysis is conducted from the multiple dimensions such as the analysis on the current situation of wastewater recycling reuse at home and abroad, the comprehensive comparison of the related technologies, the potential of low-carbon development, the energy conversion, the resource utilization, and the engineering application strategies of low-carbon recycling reuse, which provide the scientific and systematic strategic suggestions for the development of wastewater recycling reuse technologies and the management of water resource in China, and help China set a new milestone in the field of global sustainable water resources development.
