Abstract:Nantong area is near the river and the sea, and its unique geology of water-rich sand layer brings the difficulties to the safe reception of shield machine. Under the condition of water-rich sand layer, the solid tiny leakage channels can also develop into major water and sand gushing hazards in a short period of time, which is a major safety challenge for shield reception. Based on a case of shield receiving project in Nantong, the safety reception situation of the shield machine in Metro Line 1 is analyzed and summarized. The specific optimization measures are taken for tunnel door sealing, portal reinforcement, emergency treatment, grouting sealing and other aspects. And the key points of quality safety control are clarified.
