Abstract:As a new type of arch bridge, the butterfly-shaped arch bridge is favored in the construction of urban landscape bridges at home and abroad due to its novel and unique shape and easy coordination with the surrounding environment. The Chongming South Hengyinhe Bridge is located on a curve, and its main bridge is a 69.514-m through-type composite beam butterfly-shaped bowstring arch bridge. The key technologies of its structural design and construction control are introduced in detail. The structural and stress characteristics of the bridge are summarized. The method to improve its stress performance is put forward.
