Abstract:In order to improve the pavement performance of aged asphalt, the waste cooking oil (WCO) and microwave activated crumb runner (ACR) are used to carry out its composite modification to test and analyze the basic properties, rheological properties, dispersibility and storage stability of the modified asphalt with the different modifier dosages. The results show that WCO reduces the viscosity and improve the fluidity of the asphalt, and ACR swells and forms a cross-linked structure under the action of WCO, which improves the elastic recovery ability and the high-temperature performance of the asphalt, and achieves the good the deformation ability at low temperatures. The Fluorescence microscopy analyses show that the dispersion and storage stability of low-doped ACR are good. When the dosage is 9% WCO + 19% ACR, the comprehensive performance is optimal.
