Abstract:Intelligent connected vehicles (ICVs) have become a strategic emerging industry in China. However, the development of urban roads, as the carriers of ICVs, has been relatively slow. Promoting the intelligent upgrading of traditional road facilities system to adapt to the development of ICVs and smart cities has become an important direction of current urban road construction. Focusing on the vehicle-city collaboration function and scene application requirements, the overall goal of smart road construction is clarified, then the intelligent road classification method is established. The basic framework of the smart road construction facing the vehicle-city cooperation is built. The realization path of smart road construction and reconstruction based on smart light pole is put forward. Finally, the multiple scenario applications of smart roads are explored from the perspectives of vehicle driving, urban management and traffic management, which provides the solution and the promotion template for vehicle-city cooperation construction.
